Overview

Key features

Microphone type: Tube condenser
Tube: 6AU6
Polar patterns: Cardioid and omnidirectional
Cooling: Active cooling system
Power: Dedicated external power supply

In your setup

Choose cardioid for more focused pickup or omnidirectional operation when room sound and off-axis sources are part of the recording. The tube circuit uses its dedicated power system, so it should be integrated as a complete microphone setup rather than treated as a standard phantom-powered microphone.
